We offer our patients a variety of Cutera® laser skin treatments that can essentially be used on affected areas such as the face, neck, chest, and hands:

LASER GENESIS TREATMENT

Laser Genesis treatments address unwanted redness and enlarged blood vessels of areas like the face, chest, and hands. These comfortable, non-ablative treatments can be performed without a topical anesthetic.

You can expect to immediately return to normal activities because most of the major redness is in the first few days. Most patients notice subtle yet consistent results after each treatment, without unwanted side effects like bruising or skin irritation. Furthermore, you may require 4 to 6 treatments in order to achieve the result you are seeking.

PEARL TREATMENT

Unlike “fractional” treatments like Pearl Fractional, Pearl addresses the entire surface of the skin for a comprehensive and thorough skin renewal. These treatments affect both the outside and the inside layers of the skin.

The outer layer of treated skin is replaced with new and healthy skin. The laser delivers heat to deeper layers of the skin stimulating new collagen growth, filling out and decreasing fine lines and wrinkles. New collagen growth continues for 4 to 6 weeks post-treatment. The combination of new skin and decreased wrinkles results in a healthier, more youthful appearance.

After treatment, the skin will have a sunburned appearance and you will leave our office with ointment applied to the skin for moisture. The skin will need to be kept moist for at least 3-4 days during which you will need to wear protective clothing and limit sun exposure. After 3-4 days, the top layer of skin peels off revealing new, healthy, vibrant skin underneath. Although initial care is required, the total number of required treatments is minimized. Typically, only 1-2 treatments are necessary to renew your skin.

PEARL FRACTIONAL TREATMENT

Pearl Fractional laser treatments impact only a fraction of the skin at a particular site, but by initiating the body’s natural healing process rejuvenate the entire area. During treatment, thousands of microscopic columns of light are used to treat the skin in a “dot” pattern, while leaving much of the skin untreated. As your body repairs the treated portions of the skin, it regenerates cells and rebuilds collagen, creating a much healthier and more vibrant look to the skin.

Pearl Fractional renews the skin from within, increasing volume to minimize the appearance of wrinkles and hollows while also repairing photo-damage and other imperfections on the skin’s surface.

A topical anesthetic is applied to the skin before treatment to increase your comfort. These treatments have been described as feeling like a series of fast, hot pinches, or like a rubber band snap. Afterwards, your skin will appear slightly reddened and may be swollen temporarily. You can begin to see results in about a week, and will be able to apply make-up within 5 to 7 days. The skin will continue to rebuild itself and replenish lost collagen for 3 to 6 months, creating additional skin enhancement during this time.

EXCEL V™ LASER

As one of the newest laser devices from Cutera, the Excel V Laser provides exceptionally flexible and effective treatment for numerous concerns, from superficial and deep vascular conditions to rosacea and port wine stains.
